From
David Cronk:
“Hi Nana, My daughter has been carrying
around her Baby Girl bear for the past 3 years
- it is now a dusty rose color. Can you send me
the washing instructions?”
a little later: “Baby Girl Bear
had her bath this morning. She cleaned up just
fine in the washer/dryer. Elizabeth Grace was
pretty worried about it. She watched Baby Girl
Bear for most of the wash cycle. Baby Girl Bear
received a big hug after she dried off.”
a little later: “Elizabeth Grace said
that Baby Girl Bear was sad. I asked her why Baby
Girl Bear was sad. Elizabeth said, 'Because she
doesn't like to go under water or swim.' I think
that after their nap they should be ok.”
months
later: "I wanted to update you
on my daughter Elizabeth’s Girl Bear family.
She loves her Big girl bear. We gave it to her
on her 5th Birthday (8/24/10) I am sure that all
of her other animal friends will “move away”
as she gets older, but we will make sure that
she has her girl bears forever."
I still have my bear from when I was a child.
He is in a glass case on my dresser. I will make
a place for her bears as well.
