The positive characteristics of the a-door-nimals Cuddly Birth Announcement Bear were many. I thought the bear was well constructed and made with quality materials. The dry erase board and marker made it unique because you can personalize the bear not just for a birth announcement, but for pregnancy countdown and tooth fairy. The overall execution of this product was well thought out and I really enjoyed reviewing this product.

I really loved that this was a keepsake item that would grow with the child. It can be given as a baby gift, but then can be used without the baby theme as the child grows. I loved the tooth fairy idea that was included with the product.

a-door-nimals Cuddly Birth Announcements for the Hospital Door is a cute product. It is nice that it can be used for a few different purposes which extends its useful life. It is nice that part of the product can become a keepsake commemorating the birth of your child (the heart) and then the bear itself can be used as a decoration and then by the child as a teddy bear as she gets older. The treasure pocket on the back of the bear adds a unique dimension to the product that older children would like. I like the fact that it can be washed and dried as that is something I feel is very important in a baby toy, especially a stuffed animal.

Once baby arrives, change the information displayed using the pen provided, and write in baby's birth announcement and hang it on the hospital door. Once you are home it makes a great door hanger to announce when baby is sleeping or when you wish to not be disturbed. Then simply remove the heart shaped write on board and it makes a perfect playtime pal as a sweet and plush animal that is soft and cuddly. As baby grows up, he will find many uses for the handy treasure pocket, including but not limited to a perfect place to hold his tooth for the tooth fairy.

The a-door-nimals are well made and will last long past the tooth losing years. I love the special added touches that have been added and the quality is supreme. This is a special gift to give as well as being great to purchase for your own child. It is so hard to find that special unique something that you know will not duplicate what someone else is giving.
